DDC Ramban Chairperson launches Key Link Road Project

RAMBAN, Nov 5: Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Ramban Dr. Shamshad Shan on Tuesday inaugurated the construction of a vital 1.5 km link road from Gool Jabbar (Tungwalli) to Gujjer Galli in Subdivision Gool. The project, funded under the UT sector with an allocation of Rs. 58.5 lakhs, is being executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) Division Ramban. The Chairperson highlighted that this road PROJECT will fulfill a long-standing demand of the local residents, significantly improving connectivity and accessibility to the area. She called upon PWD engineers to maintain high standards of work to ensure lasting benefits for the community. During the visit, Dr. Shan also engaged with local residents to hear their developmental needs and concerns. In response to issues raised, she directed the Jal Shakti Department to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water for the area.
Assistant Engineer PWD Subdivision Gool, Tariq Ahmed, along with engineers from the Jal Shakti Department, prominent citizens, and locals were present to witness the event.
