LPU students shine at magnitude 2024 festival

JALANDHAR, Nov 6: LPU organized an annual open intra-university competition, Magnitude 2024, wherein students can exhibit their creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence. The competition was open to all students at the university, providing a gateway for the winners to qualify for Youth Vibe, LPU's prestigious open global fest. This year's event was marked by exceptional participation, with thousands of students competing across a multitude of categories, including Literary, Technical, Fine Arts, Cultural, and Lifestyle. This year's Magnitude also introduced a mentorship program featuring eight dynamic teams: Zenith, Bling, Heritage, LPU Elites, Step Legends, Color Craze Crew, Super Kings, and Enigma.
The competition featured a variety of events, including Soundscape, Voice of Magnitude, Mag Gala, Stitch and Style, and both Open Mic and Literary Open Mic sessions. Engaging discussions took place in The News Debate and Pod-A-Cast, while fine arts were showcased through Brush Strokes, Aesthetic Arts, and Face Palettes. Competitions like Rush to Roadies, Spike Showdown, and Arm Face Off added excitement. The highlight of the event came with the crowning of Harsh Kumar and Aishwarya as Mr. and Miss Magnitude 2024, and the Overall Champion title went to the Step Legends team. Also, the renowned singer Swati Mishra, captivated the audience with her enchanting performances, further enriching the Grand Finale's vibrant atmosphere.
The Grand Finale was graced by the esteemed presence of Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of Lovely Professional University. In her address, Dr. Mittal celebrated the remarkable talent of the students and reaffirmed the university's unwavering commitment to nurturing that talent. Dr. Mittal stated, "At LPU, we believe in empowering our students and creating an environment where their talents can flourish. Events like Magnitude 2024 are vital for recognizing and supporting the extraordinary potential of our students."
Swati Mishra an iconic singer also expressed her admiration for the students at LPU, saying, "I am truly inspired by the energy and positivity here. It's a privilege to witness such incredible talent and enthusiasm from the students.
