JAMMU, Nov 6: The Apni Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has taken a review meeting here at the Gandhi Nagar Office in Jammu, following the assembly elections. In this review meeting, all the District Presidents, Contesting Candidates, Frontal Organizations, besides, other senior leaders were also present.
The meeting was chaired by Altaf Bukhari to take a review of the Party's functioning post - elections and chalk out future strategy to strengthen its roots across Jammu. The Party leaders, General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, and Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh briefed the Party President about the functioning of the Party.
Following a threadbare discussion, the Party President directed the leaders, who attended the meeting, to work among the masses and strive hard to resolve public issues.
He said that the Party is fully committed to get constitutional protections for the land and jobs so that it could not be snatched.
"It was only the Apni Party that had protected jobs / land for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. However, we will ensure that the jobs and land can get a constitutional guarantee so that no one can snatch the rights of the people of J&K," he added.
Besides, he further stated that the Party is fully committed to serve the people and achieve its core agenda for which it came into existence on March 8, 2020.

Meanwhile, he expressed concern over why the Govt has shown no interest in releasing the detainees from custody.
"The people, especially youth, on different charges have been lodged in jails for years. They shall be released. Unfortunately, the Govt has shown no interest," he added, expressing his resentment. He demanded that the detainees shall be released from custody.
He also raised a concern over the delay in issuing passports and making the verification process very difficult for the people, especially youth.
"The youth often go for higher studies outside the country and a better future.
