Dr Darakhshan inaugurates new infrastructural works

JAMMU, Nov 6: Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board today inaugurated many new infrastructural works at the shrine of Zainuddin Wali (RA) at Srigufwara & later at the Aasar-e-Sharif Dargah Khiram in South Kashmir. The foundation stones for these works was laid by Andrabi and these projects were completed well before the deadlines set. Dr Darakhshan also laid the foundation for many other works at both the shrines today. Waqf Chairperson was accompanied by the Tehsildar and Executive Magistrate of the Board Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin & Executive Engineer Tariq Kaloo. During her tour to both the places, Dr Andrabi paid obeisance at shrines and prayed for the peace in J&K. She also met many public delegations and interacted with the public representatives for their feedback. Andrabi addressed gatherings at both the places after the events and said that it was satisfying and encouraging to see the satisfaction of the people at ground zero about the significant and historic performance of J&K Waqf Board during the past thirty months. ""Development at all shrines testifies our resolve and promise of transformation and our relentless and honest working speaks at the ground zero. We find immense development at all the Waqf Board managed shrines & the mission of the transformation is on", said Andrabi. Sharing details of the works done by the Board during the past two years at Srigufwara, Andrabi said that Construction of open Wudhu units, construction of Langar Khana, renovation of Hamam Wudhu units, tiling of Lawn and pathway, recreation of Dewri Pathway, Entrance Canopy of the Shrine and mosque, Shrine entrance Dewdi, Construction of Mimber at the adjacent Eidgah have upgraded the facilities and uplifted the campus grandeur of this Sufi shrine. She also updated about the works at Dargah sharif at Khiram this year. A Sabaat for women, Open Wudhu units outside the shrine, Hamaam with Wudhu units for Jamia Masjid, Entrance Canopy for Jamia Masjid, New Collection Beats & Langar Khana for pilgrims are the major works done by the Board here.
