JKTJAC delegation meets DSEJ

JAMMU, Nov 8: A delegation of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), led by UT President Vinod Sharma, met with Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Ashok Kumar Sharma to discuss urgent issues facing the teaching fraternity. The delegation included key members such as Vice President Surjeet Singh Chib, UT Advisor Sham Sharma, and District Presidents from Udhampur, Jammu, and Reasi.
Vinod Sharma raised several important concerns, including:
Regularization of ReTs who have completed their 5-year tenure.
Conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III for those with complete files.
Adjustment of newly promoted teachers to the master grade.
Permission for teachers who have earned degrees during service.
Granting earned leave to teachers engaged during vacation periods.
Holding an additional Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for teachers to the master grade.
Director Sharma assured the delegation that he would address all raised issues and promised prompt action, including the early issuance of adjustment orders for newly promoted teachers.
