| JMC destroy sub-standard milk, realize Rs 2960 fine on spot | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 31: A fine of Rs 2960 was realized on spot by a team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) after destroying sub standard milk at various places in the city during the inspection.
As per press release, team headed by Municipal Veterinary Officer visited Satwari, Digiana, Gangyal, Kunjwani MLA’s Hotel, K.C Govt quarters and seized 18 cans of milk, while checking found them sub-standard and destroyed on spot. The veterinary officer on spot warns the shopkeeper that an action will be taken under prevention of food adulteration, if eatable items are found sub standard.
