Jammu, Nov 9: The one-day District Kathua Speedball Championship concluded at Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua on [Date]. Organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Speedball Association in collaboration with Jammu Sanskriti School, the event saw participation from around 250 players representing various schools including Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, Delhi Public School Raj Bhag, Mount Litera Zee School, Kartar Public School, Sai International School, Minerva Public School, and D.A.V. Collegiate School.
The matches were officiated by Mayank Mahajan, Gurvansh Choudhary, Aarsh Jasrotia, Lavya Mahajan, and Gagandeep Singh.
A special felicitation ceremony was held to honor players who recently participated in the 35th World Speedball Championship in Egypt. These players included Rehaan, Ranveer Verma, Ekam Singh, Ekjyot Singh, Aryana Choudhary, and Manvendar Singh.
Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS (AD.SP Kathua) was the chief guest, while Mr. Ajay Singh Chib (SHO Kathua) was the guest of honor. Other dignitaries present included Mrs. Harpreet Kour (Principal KPS), Mr. Munsih Gupta (Vice-President JKSBA), Ms. Mili R. Sumbria (Principal JSS Kathua), and Ms. Aastha Nanda (Member JKSSB).
The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Sunny Nanda, who expressed gratitude to all guests for their time and support. All gold medal winners were selected to represent Kathua at the State-Level Speedball Championship. |
