11/9/2024 11:04:14 PM
Early Times Report

Nagrota, Nov 9: The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC J-10) commenced at the NCC Training Academy in Nagrota, Jammu, on November 8, 2024. Organized by the 2 J&K Girls Battalion under the NCC Directorate of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh, the camp will run until November 17, 2024.
Around 450 cadets, both boys and girls from the Junior and Senior Divisions across five districts — Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Poonch, and Bhaderwah — are participating in the camp. The primary aim of the camp is to foster the holistic development of cadets through various activities such as Basic Military Training, drills, map reading, firing, cultural activities, educational visits, motivational lectures, and Yoga.
A key feature of the camp is the Super 30 SSB capsule, a training program designed to prepare promising cadets for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews, the final step for joining the Armed Forces. The camp emphasizes physical endurance, mental agility, teamwork, patriotism, and a healthy lifestyle, all while providing an immersive cultural experience.
The camp offers a perfect platform for leadership and character development, preparing the youth for future challenges and fostering strong leadership qualities.
