NC has brought bloodshed back in J&K: MP Gulam Ali
11/9/2024 11:05:31 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 9: Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic killings of two Village Defence Group (VDG) members in Kishtwar, senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament Er. Gulam Ali Khatana condemned the incident, attributing it to the recent resurgence of the National Conference (NC) and Congress in Jammu & Kashmir.
He said, “With the NC-Congress alliance coming into power, the bloodshed of innocent people has tragically begun once again.”
“I had warned of a dark era if these parties regained control, and sadly, my concerns are proving accurate,” he stated.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Khatana emphasized, a new chapter of peace and development had begun in Jammu & Kashmir. He praised their vision for the region, aiming to provide stability and prosperity to all its citizens. “But now, those responsible for past bloodshed, who have left thousands of widows and orphans, are once again holding influence,” he lamented, adding that it threatens the gains made in recent years.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the VDG members, reaffirming his commitment to work for a peaceful and secure Jammu & Kashmir.
