| J&K Taekwondo Association to conduct selection trials | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 10: The J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA) will hold selection trials for the Sub-Junior Taekwondo teams on November 15 and 16 at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. The trials are for the 38th National Sub-Junior Kyorugi and 13th National Sub-Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships 2024, which will be held from November 29 to December 1 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana.
The selection trials will be overseen by a committee comprising:
Atul Pangotra (International Coach/Player/Referee) - Convenor
Anuj Sharma (Joint Secretary, JKTA) - Organizing Secretary
Chandeep Singh (International Player) - Member
Amit Kumar (National Player) - Member
The committee will ensure a fair and transparent process. Weigh-ins will take place on November 15 at 4:00 PM, while the selection events for both Kyorugi and Poomsae will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on November 16.
Players are required to bring the following documents for the selection trial:
Green Belt Certificate
Medical Fitness Certificate
Domicile Certificate
Passport Size Photographs
JKTA Athlete License
Date of Birth Certificate
Aadhar Card
