JAMMU, Nov 10: One day conference of ASCOMS employees welfare Association held today at Trikuta Yatri Niwas ambphalla Jammu under the chairmanship of Association president and about two hundreds delegates attended the conference the programe was inaugurated by the Smt. Neelam Sharma State General Secretary Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh by lightening the lamp along with other union functionaries
Association General Secretary Sachin Bali presented last three years association report card, Income and expanses detail were also presented by association cashier Suresh Raina Sh. Sachin Bali General Secretary also high lighted the achievements of the Association for the last three years as numbers of long standing demands were full filled and with the result employees got 2000- to 3000/- enhancement on table talks with the management and also appreciated management and specially chairman trustee for considering the long pending demands of the employees and minimum wages implementation is also at final stage and association hopes that this issue will be also resolved.
Harbans Choudhary Seniior leader of BMS while addressing the participants recalled that about 20 years ago association was duly regd and since than numbers of statuary benefits extended to present employees as well as those who had left the service and all these achievement has been made with the unity of the employees further also high lighted that BMS is making pressure on the Central Govt. for to make necessary changes changes in the Industrial Relation Code 2020 and the Occupational Safety, health and working conditions code 2020 and BMS has given consent on two labour codes i.e. The code on Wages 2019 and the code on Social Security 2020 as these two codes are employees friendly up to some extend
President of the Association dissolved the existing union body and pave the way for new office bearer body and Sh. Ashok Choudhary organizing Secretary BMS was given the responsibility of election commissioner and finally delegates present in the conference elected new officer bearers as under
Rakesh Chouhan as President, Sudesh Sharma, and Mrs. Renu Bala as Vice Presidents, Suresh Raina as General Secretary, Anil Pandoh, Ramesh Kumar and Anchal Singh as Joint Secretaries Sachin Bali as Cashier, Vishal Gupta Assistant Treasurer Kewal Singh Organizing Secretary, Rohit Hans as Publicity Secretary and Harbans Choudhary Executive Committee member cum Adviser, Sunita Pandita, Reenu Devi, Surinder Kumar, Surbhi, Santosh Kumari, Sanjay Sharma Raman Sharma, Sumit Sharma, Azar Ayub, Tarun Raina and Vijay Singh as executive members for next three years
