JAMMU, Nov 10: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today flagged off the second Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust at Raj Bhawan. The initiative is part of the "Sanskrit in Every Household" campaign aimed at promoting the Sanskrit language and the timeless wisdom of Sanskrit scriptures in Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, the Lt Governor extended his congratulations to Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust for their continuous efforts to popularize Sanskrit. The Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul will travel across the region, making Sanskrit education more accessible to people.
A vehicle for the Gurukul was provided by Rakesh Gandotra, Chairman of the S.D. Memorial Educational Trust. The event was attended by Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of the Trust, along with trustees and members including RK Chhibber, Dr. Vishav Gupta, Jagdev Singh Chib, and others. |
