J&K Ball Badminton Women's selection trials held

SRINAGAR, Nov 11: The J&K Ball Badminton Association successfully organized the selection trials for the Jammu & Kashmir Senior National Women's Ball Badminton Team at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar. The trials were held in preparation for the upcoming 70th Senior National Ball Badminton Championship, scheduled to take place in Raigad, Maharashtra, from September 26 to December 29, 2024.
The trials were conducted under the supervision of the J&K Sports Council, with Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, Senior Manager, J&K Sports Council, acting as the observer, and Mr. Mohd Iqbal, Manager of Gindun Sports Stadium, assisting with the arrangements. The J&K Ball Badminton Association was represented by Mr. Mohsin Farooq, Joint Secretary, and Mr. Tabish Mustafa Bhat, Member.
Out of the 25 girls who participated, 15 were selected to represent J&K in the national championship. The selected players will now attend a residential coaching camp at Gindun Sports Stadium, scheduled from November 12 to December 2, 2024. Following this, a final screening test will be held on December 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the same venue.
All selected players are required to bring their age proof certificates and two passport-size photographs when they report for the coaching camp and screening test.
