RAMNAGAR, Nov 13: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar organized a cleanliness drive as part of the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Bhavnaish Chand. This drive, held on August 25, aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness both on campus and in the surrounding community.
NSS volunteers and students participated actively, cleaning various areas inside and outside the college premises. The volunteers extended their efforts to the adopted village of Thaplal, where they engaged with residents to highlight the importance of cleanliness in daily life. They also collected plastic waste and cleaned local parks.
Dr. Bhavnaish Chand praised the NSS Unit's dedication and encouraged students to maintain a proactive approach toward keeping the environment clean and healthy. |
