GDC Ramnagar hosts workshop

RAMNAGAR, Nov 14: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar organized a one-day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for its teaching faculty. Led by Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar, Regional Director of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Northern Regional Campus, Jammu, the workshop covered essential aspects of IPR, including copyright, patents, and trademarks, to enhance awareness and understanding among faculty members.
The event, held under the guidance of GDC Ramnagar's Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, began with IQAC Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandit introducing the academic accomplishments of Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar. His insights on protecting intellectual work and the legal landscape of intellectual property resonated strongly, with faculty members actively participating in discussions on safeguarding academic contributions and promoting innovation.
The workshop saw the full attendance of GDC Ramnagar's teaching staff, demonstrating the college's commitment to academic integrity and faculty development. The event concluded with Dr. Kewal Kumar, an active IQAC member, delivering a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the valuable contributions of Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar and the enthusiastic participation of the faculty.
