JAMMU, Nov 14: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar, marked Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Jayanti and Children's Day by hosting a lively 'Bal Mela' on campus. The event began with a soulful Kirtan, filling the atmosphere with religious fervor.
The celebration welcomed special guests, including Dr. Himani Nanda, an ex-student and J&K Bank employee, Laxmi Pradhan, Head of Orphanage from Aradhna NGO, and Rakesh Singh Bahu, Youth National Conference District President. The guests were honored by the school's Principal, Rameshwar Mengi, Headmaster, and Wing Incharges.
The Bal Mela featured various stalls offering delicious food and entertaining games, captivating both students and teachers. Principal Mengi emphasized the value of such events in building life skills and urged students to embrace the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji for a compassionate and fulfilling life.
