REASI, Nov 14: The Cyber Cell of District Reasi successfully refunded ?3,61,200 to two victims of investment scheme scams. The victims received ?2,72,400 and ?88,800 respectively, thanks to the swift response and efforts of the Cyber Cell team.
District Police Reasi urges the public to stay vigilant against investment schemes promising high returns through apps or links. Suspicious online activities should be reported to the National Cybercrime Helpline at 1930 or via www.cybercrime.gov.in. They also warn against "Digital Arrest Scams," which deceive people and lead to financial losses. |
