Minister Satish Sharma celebrates Children's Day

AKHNOOR, Nov 14: On the occasion of Children's Day, the Youth Services and Sports Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Satish Sharma, made a surprise visit to Government High School, Ranjan Thathi, to celebrate the special day with the students. Upon arrival, he interacted warmly with the students, distributing sports kits and chocolates, adding a festive touch to the occasion.
During his visit, Minister Sharma engaged in heartfelt conversations with the children, extending his best wishes for Children's Day. He encouraged the students to focus on their studies, participate actively in sports, and strive to become responsible citizens of the society. Emphasizing the importance of holistic development, he expressed that the bright future of society and the nation rests upon the well-rounded growth of young minds.
In a discussion with the school's Headmistress, Rakesh Raina, and other faculty members, Sharma reviewed the school's essential needs. He assured the administration of prompt support, pledging to provide the school with a new playground and additional infrastructure in the near future.
To make the Children's Day celebrations even more memorable, Minister Sharma treated the students to a special meal at Akhnoor's renowned Kohinoor Restaurant. The children were delighted as they enjoyed cold drinks, pizza, and their favorite treats, making it a day to remember. As a gesture of affection, the students thanked him by fondly referring to him as "Satish Chacha" and expressed their gratitude for the wonderful experience.
The event was attended by Headmistress Rakesh Raina, along with staff members Sanjay Sudan, Kishore Sharma, Kewal Kishore, Tanu Kotwal, Kuldeep Kumar, Shaguna Parihar, Nisha Rani, Rajesh Sharma and Rakesh Malhotra.
