| Children’s theatre workshop at Kuh Nalla conclude | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Ramnagar, Apr 1: A five day long children theatre workshop organized by Progressive youth Society Ramnagar- Udhampur in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi w.e.f 27th March to 31st March 2009 held in Bansi Memorial Public School, Kooh Nalla, concluded here today renowned drama director O.P. Shakir was the chief guest whereas Kewal Singh principal presided over and Shanker Singh was the guest of honour in the workshop’s valedictory function. Twenty five students of the school participated in theatre workshop who were trained by drama artist Ranbir Singh
Hindi play “Kala Suraj” written by Mohan Singh were staged by the trainee students of the school. Some cultural items were also presented. Teacher Meena Kumari presented vote of thanks and thanked Progressive Youth Society and Sangeet Natak Akademi for organizing theatre workshop in a rural area for the first time. |
