DODA, Nov 14: The 10 J&K Battalion NCC Bhaderwah, in collaboration with the District Administration Doda and District Youth Services and Sports Department, organized a rifle shooting event here at Shooting Hall, Sports Stadium.
Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest, engaging with NCC students and young shooters. He commended their efforts and dedication to the sport.
In his address, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of sports, particularly shooting, in fostering discipline, focus, and national pride among youth. He encouraged the participants to excel in rifle shooting and bring honor to the country through their achievements.
Expressing his pride in Doda's legacy, the DC highlighted that the district has produced skilled shooters who have represented at the national level, inspiring the next generation to aim higher. His interaction with NCC students was filled with motivating words, urging them to pursue their aspirations in the sport with determination and contribute to the nation's reputation on the global stage.
The event was attended by NCC officers, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) DIO and NCC staff, as well as other sports personnel. |
