Bhim intensifies election campaign in militancy dominated areas

Jammu, Apr 01- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP, who is contesting Lok Sabha election from Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary Constituency, has intensified his election campaign in the areas of Reasi, Mahore, Gulabgarh, Gool and other areas in Reasi and Ramban Districts which are identified by the administration as dens of terrorists and the militants. Accompanied by newly elected MLC, Syed Rafiq Shah, Reasi District President, Balwan Singh, Gulabgarh Tehsil President, Haji Mohiuddin and others, Prof. Bhim Singh reached Mahore by midnight without any assistance or escort by the local police.
Addressing impressive public meetings at Reasi, Salal, Arnas, Mahore, Chhajru, Budan, Gool, Prof. Singh praised the people of the area for keeping up their secular traditions alive and strong in spite of the wrath of the terrorists and foreign aided, abetted and armed militants who killed dozen of people in the area. He told the enthusiastic crowds of people that the two-nation theory has proved a total failure whereas the secular democracy of great Indian jurisprudence has succeeded to the full view of the world. He told the majority community that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had taken a most wise and scientific decision to join dominion of India in 1947. He called on all the angry and gun-wielding youth in Jammu and Kashmir to give up guns and join the battle of ballot to ensure the delivery of justice and equity.
Accusing Congress-NC alliance for the present state of affairs, corruption and loot, Prof Singh said that both the parties are the mothers of terrorism and corruption in the state.He emphasized the need to amend Article 370 to empower the Parliament to legislate on Jammu and Kashmir so that the whole country is involved in the affairs of the state and its problems.
Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC appealed the electorates in Udhampur to vote for Prof. Singh, who is only acceptable political personality in Jammu and Kashmir by the people of all regions. He said Prof Singh deserves support of the people without any hesitation. The local leadership from different political parties expressed their solidarity in favour of Prof. Bhim Singh.
The Panthers Party District and Block Committee contributed Rs.80, 000 as the election fund for Prof. Bhim Singh’s campaign.
