BJP to expose Congress for its wrong deeds: Arora
4/1/2009 10:27:05 PM
Jammu, Apr -01- Asserting that BJP is committed to expose the wrong deeds of the Congress led government at the centre and its coalition in the state, BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora said that a powerful and stable government was required at the centre to firmly deal with the problems confronting the country including the growing terrorism
Addressing media persons here today he said the past experience shows that BJP is the party which can only deal such like situation. The Congress can not do justice, to it, as it has soft approach towards militancy and militants. This can be well judged from the fact that Congress-led UPA did not implement the verdict of the Supreme Court of death sentence of Afzal Guru. Not only this, the Congress abolished POTA like law without giving any alternative.
Arora said that the BJP have fielded two candidates in Jammu and Kashmir Lila Karan Sharma (Adv.) and Dr. Nirmal Singh. Both the candidates are men without any blot or question mark. Lila Karan Sharma has proved his leadership qualities during Shri Amarnath Yatra agitation. He is true representative of Jammu people, he said and added that in 2008 assembly elections people rejected the policies of Congress that is why people have voted in favour of BJP and increased its support from 9 percent to 21.9 per cent.
‘How much concerned the Congress has been for the common masses, is clear from the fact that the state government has imposed VAT on CSD items and snatched the facilities available to serviceman and also ex-serviceman’, he said.
Arora further said that ‘we are sure that BJP will be in power after parliament elections and appealed the people of Jammu to contribute in it by voting in favour of BJP candidates.
