| Shoba Yatra of Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu taken out | | | JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 22-Param Pujya Sant Shri Asa Ram Bapuji ashram Bhagwati Nagar is celebrating ‘Attam Sakishtkar Divas’ of Param Pujya Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu on September 24, in this connection a Shoba Yatra was taken out from various bazaars of city of temple which include Canal Road, Jewel Chowk, Raghunath Bazaar, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazaar, Pacca Danga and Moti Bazaar and culminated at Parade Ground where the devotees dispersed after performing Aarti. The yatra was lead the way by a group of Band Baja and Bhangra team followed by 5 patrons on decorated horses, 108 ladies carrying Kumb over their heads, Rath of Charan Paduka of Pujya Bapu Ji, Rath of Pujya Bapu Ji, Janky of Shri Radha Krishan Ji, a Janky of Bal Sanskar and a huge number of devotees (males and females) accompanying the yatra in two queues. Enroute the traders of various bazaars welcomed the Shoba Yatra and arranged sweet water, parshad for followers of Bapuji. People on either side of the road and from over the roof tops were paying their obeisance to Pujya Bapu ji by throwing petals. It is worthwhile to mention here that for the first time on the eve of ‘Amavasya’, ‘Samuhik Shradh Pitri and Pind Daan Divas’ was organized in the ashram by well educated shastries and pandits in which 250 devotees partook. |
