SUNDERBANI, Nov 19: Government Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JK Livelihood Mission to operate its college canteen through the Bhumi Self-Help Group. This collaboration aims to provide hygienic, affordable food to students and staff while empowering local entrepreneurs. The signing ceremony, held at the college, was attended by Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht, faculty members, student representatives, and members of JK Livelihood Mission and Bhumi Self-Help Group.
Dr. Vashisht emphasized the significance of such partnerships in fostering community participation and entrepreneurship. "This initiative supports both the needs of our students and the economic independence of local groups," she remarked.
