| DM reviews security arrangements | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Nov 21: District Magistrate (DM) Doda Harvinder Singh chaired a comprehensive meeting here today in Mini Meeting Hall DC Office to conduct a security audit of critical infrastructure projects in the district.
The meeting was attended by ADC Sudarshan Kumar; SP operations Sunil Kumar Kesar; GM NHIDCL Ajay Thakur and Project Directors/Managers of companies involved in infrastructure projects across the district besides Tehsildar Doda, Tehsildar Thathri, concerned Patwaris, and officials from the Tehsil Headquarters.
The deliberations focused on conducting a thorough security audit of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects to ensure the safety and integrity of these vital installations. Key decisions taken in the meeting included the establishment of a CCTV control room, the deployment of associated Video Data Gateways and the strategic movement of Special Operations Group personnel.
In addition to these measures, the meeting discussed the inclusion of trained canine units for enhanced surveillance and security. The officers and officials deliberated on the necessity of security personnel at Entry points, implementing a rotation system for security guards and ensuring that contact information for police personnel and local police post officers is visibly posted at project sites.
Further topics included the establishment of single entry and exit points for better control, fencing and containment strategies and other critical matters aimed at bolstering security protocols for infrastructure projects across the district.
The District Magistrate Doda emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to ensure the safety of these vital infrastructure projects. He instructed all stakeholders to implement the discussed measures to achieve optimal security standards. |
