Multi-lingual poetic meet organized at Bhaderwah Campus

Bhaderwah, Apr 2- A Multilingual Poetic meet was organized by the Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu in collaboration with Government PG College Bhaderwah and Aqbal Bazm-e-Adab at the Seminar hall of the Campus. .Rector Bhaderwah Campus Irshad Ahmad Hamal was the chief guest.
Renowned poets of Doda district, large numbers of people from civil society, students, facility of the Bhaderwah Campus, officials from Police and local administration attended the function. The theme of the poetic meet was "Different aspects of education in Chenab Valley”
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Hamal emphasized that such interactions with different components of the society and the University Campus should become a continuous feature so that the cultural interaction takes place between the locals and the students perusing their studies in the Campus and hailing from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir state and else where. “The University will always provide platform for promoting such cultural activities. In future the University authorities are looking forward to have such interaction with the artists performing music and fine art,” said Prof Hamal
On this occasion the annual Urdu magazine of Aqbal Bazm-E-Adab “BAZM” was also released by the Rector Bhaderwah Campus Professor Hamal, Dr Mohammed Iqbal Sheikh Principal Government PG College Bhaderwah , Suheel Sadiqi President Aqbal Bazm-e-Adab, Dr Om Kar Bhagat and Tanveer Bhaderwahi.
The eminent poets who recited their poems included Malik Mohammed. Alyas, Abdul Jabbar Jair, Suheel Sadiqi, Talib Hussian Rind, Abdual Gani Bebas, Mohammed Hussian Naqash, Shaz Sharki, Naz Nizami, Amandeep, Sajid Sarmadi, Ghulam Hassan Khaksar, Shabab Shadan,Abu Zar Khateeb, Mir Hussian Mir, Tabish , Sheikh Arshad and Danish.
