JAMMU, Nov 22: NSS Wing of GDC, Bishnah attended the Rashtriya Kissan Summit held at Sher-a Kashmir Agricultural university Chatta today on 22nd November under the patronage of Principal of the college Dr. Shallu Samyal. Around 40 students participated in this mela. During summit Dr. Manmohan Sharma, professor of Biotechnology delivered a lecture on career making in an agricultural stream and the lecture followed by the interactive session wherein students cleared their doubts and apprehensions. Dr. Rashmi Singh, commissioner Secretary to Government, Higher Education addressed the students and emphasis placed upon the deliverance of skill oriented education. Along with it students visited different stalls and saw many innovative tools in the field of agricultural field. Besides it students participated in dance performances and won appreciations. Towards end students partook in community kitchen (Langer). Prof. Anju Bala, HOD, Mathematics and Dr. Geeta Lakhotra, NSS, PO accompanied the students in Mela. |
