JAMMU, Nov 22: Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Sudhir Khajuria rejected the pre-arrest of bail application of one lahtsham Ul Haq PSI who was booked by the Polie Station Bahu Fort (Trikuta Nagar) in alleged rape case. According to the police case that the Complainant was in the consensual relation with the applicant, since 2021, but now she has altered her stance and lodged above said FIR, on the basis of false and frivolous allegation whereby it is alleged, that the applicant has made fals"e promise of marriage and he has refused to-, marry with the complainant on 20-01-2024.
Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Sudhir Khajuria after hearing APP Rohini Manhas for the UT observed that anticipatory bail is meant for a person, who is apprehending his arrest on the basis of unjust* grounds and not for a person who himself is a member, of law enforcement agency and whose adherence to law has to be more stringent than expected iri general by a common man. .So keeping in view the above discussion as well as all the facts and circumstances of the case in my opinion, considering the seriousness of the alleged offences, the present application deserves no consideration and the same is dismissed. —JNF |
