| Defeat communal, corrupt NC-Cong leadership: Bhim to voters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2- Calling upon the electorate to defeat the draconian, corrupt and communal leadership and their candidates to save Jammu and Kashmir from further death and destruction, the JKNPP chairman and party candidate from Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat has warned the people to be aware of Congress and National Conference who have been exploiting the people of the state for the past 60 years for their petty political gains.
He was addressing series of election meetings in Banihal-Ramban area. He appealed the voters to defeat the Congress and National Conference alliance in J&K which has proved fatal for the unity and progress of the state.
Accompanied by Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC and other local leaders cited several examples as to how the Congress and the NC robbed the state and plundered the economy, peace and democracy in Jammu and Kashmir which was the real cause of rise of militancy in the state.
Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC who also spoke these gatherings said that Prof Singh is the only leader in J&K who is acceptable to the people of all the three regions and he shall prove an asset in the Parliament. He said that it is only Prof Singh who can involve the angry youth of Jammu and Kashmir in the national mainstream as he has stood the test of time with his maturity, understanding of the situation and the aspirations of the people of three regions. Voting for Bhim Singh shall be voting for peace, progress and unity, he added.
The District President, Sewa Singh Bali and his team presented Rs.40, 000 to Prof. Bhim Singh towards his election campaign which was collected from the workers of the party.
