Kavinder Gupta slams Omar Abdullah over 10+2 Lecturer Post Advertisement

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta has criticized former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the National Conference (NC) government for allegedly discriminating against Jammu region in the recently advertised posts of 10+2 lecturers by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC).
In a strongly worded statement, Kavinder accused Omar Abdullah of continuing the "age-old policy" of discrimination against Jammu. He alleged that the JKPSC advertisement willfully excluded posts for subjects like Hindi, Sanskrit, Dogri, and Punjabi while prioritizing a subject predominantly favored in the Kashmir region.
"This blatant exclusion of key regional languages highlights the biased approach of the NC-led government towards Jammu. Despite Omar Abdullah's claims of equitable development and justice for all regions, the actions of his regime tell a different story," Kavinder said.
He further stated that the disparity in the advertisement unravels the National Conference's continued neglect of Jammu's interests. "It's clear that the NC leadership is not ready to mend its ways. Their discriminatory tactics are unacceptable and will not be tolerated in today's era of transparency and accountability," he added.
Kavinder Gupta called on Omar Abdullah to reconsider the decision and ensure a fair re-advertisement of the lecturer posts that includes all regional languages. "The time for divisive policies is over. Jammu deserves its rightful share and no favoritism will be allowed," he asserted.
The BJP leader emphasized the need for equality across the Union Territory and vowed to resist any policies that perpetuate regional biases.
