UDHAMPUR, Nov 23: Udhampur Police rescued 18 Bovines and seized 02 vehicles used for bovine smuggling.
Team of Police Station Chenani led by its SHO foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 13 bovines were rescued from a vehicle (Truck) bearing registration number JK08C 2906 which was seized from Chenani nakapoint. Driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road.
In this regard, case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Chenani.
One more bovine smuggling case, in which 05 bovines were rescued by the Police team of Police Post Tikri from a vehicle (Tata Mobile) bearing registration number JK14H-6958 which was seized. Accused driver namely Sahil Ahmed S/O Mohd. Ashraf R/O Qazi kund has been arrested on spot. In this regards, a Case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal. |
