| Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi Training Program Inaugurated | | | POONCH, Nov 25: Training Program under Poshan bhi Padhai bhi was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today here at Ch. Wazeer Mohammad Hakla Government Gujjar Bakarwal hostel. The Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi programme was launched by the Ministry of Women Child Development MWCD on May 10, 2023 with the aim to improve non formal Pre-schooling in Anganwadi Centres along with focus on nutrition. The National Institute for Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) has been assigned the task of conducting training in all Anganwadi Centres throughout the Country.
District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal, the chief guest said that Anganwadi centres are playing an important role in the physical, emotional, social, cultural and artistic development of the children in the age group of 3-6 years.
The POSHAN Department is also playing an important role in eradicating anemia and malnutrition, he added.
He asked the trainees to attend the training regularly ‘so that after training you may be able to deliver services in a better way.’
Earlier, District Programme Officer ICDS Khalid Wafa gave a detailed briefing on the objective of the training. District Nodal Officer training Benazir Bhatti and Master Trainer Gurmeet Kour also spoke about the module of the training. |
