NILM NGO organizes painting competition

JAMMU, Nov 25: The National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM), Jammu, held a school-level painting competition at Luthra Higher Secondary School, Kachi Chawani, focusing on the theme "Environment Conservation." The event brought together enthusiastic students from various grades, who showcased their creativity and raised awareness about the importance of protecting the environment through vibrant artworks.
The competition aimed to instill environmental consciousness among students by addressing critical issues such as pollution, deforestation, climate change, and wildlife conservation. Through their imaginative paintings, participants conveyed powerful messages about sustainability and the need for immediate action to preserve natural resources for future generations.
The event was graced by Rajesh Gupta, Vice Principal of Luthra Higher Secondary School, along with teachers Anjali Raina, Noorina, and Sonika Sharma, who supported and encouraged the young artists.
Thakur K.D. Kurhan, Chairman of NILM NGO, emphasized the importance of empowering youth through educational initiatives that foster social and environmental responsibility. "The creative expressions of these students reflect their commitment to driving positive change in society," he said.
The successful collaboration between NILM, the school, and its students showcased the collective effort to promote environmental sustainability. Such initiatives underline the pivotal role of youth in shaping a greener and more conscious future for Jammu.
