UDHAMPUR, Nov 25: Delhi Public School Udhampur successfully organized a comprehensive Career Fest on its campus, bringing together representatives from over 20 esteemed universities from across the country & abroad. The event aimed to empower students with valuable career insights and guidance, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
Career Fest EDFAIR 2024 began with traditional lighting of lamp ceremony followed by insightful introduction of eminent Universities. Dignitaries present at the event Honorable Pro Vice Chairman of the School, Dr. J. C. Gupta, Worthy MD of the School, Mr. Vivek Gupta, Dynamic Director Academics of the School, Ms Sucheta Gupta, Virtuous Principal of the School Dr. Kunal Anand.
Roohie Dhingra founder & CEO of Raising Brands, Euphoria Career Guidance and a certified career coach & Analyst organized the sessions to provide insight of various courses available at these Universities to cater to the needs of students belonging to Humanities, Sciences and Commerce stream .
The Universities that marked their presence in the beautiful premises of DPSU are Parul University, Bennett University, Chitkara University, Manipal, Ashoka , EHL, OP Jindal, Mount *Allison, World University of Design, SRM,Intuit. Lab, Shiv Nadar, Manav Rachna, Sharda University, AI Universal University, Shoolini, Chandigarh group of colleges, LPU etc
The Career Fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and faculty members. Representatives from prestigious universities showcased their academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and placement prospects, catering to the diverse interests and aspirations of the students. Institutions from a wide range of fields, including engineering, medical sciences, law, management, arts, and technology, were present, making it a one-stop destination for career counseling.
Key highlights of the event included: Interactive Sessions, Workshops and Seminars, Personalized Counseling, One-on-one counseling sessions etc .
Parents appreciated the initiative, highlighting the importance of such platforms in providing clarity and direction to students in choosing the right career paths. The Career Fest EDFAIR 2024 at DPS Udhampur underscored the school's dedication to fostering a culture of academic excellence and career readiness.
