Jammu, April 2
Dr. V. K. Dixit who had been visiting Leh since last five years to help the poor patients of Ladakh visited again for three days from 30th March on charity mission. During his three day surgery camp, Doctor Dixit performed more than 25 cases of plastic surgeries along with local surgeons and anesthetists of SNM Hospital, Leh. The senior Anesthetist of SNM Hospital Leh Dr. Tsering Murup said that out of these operations one major reconstructions surgery of T-M joint of a 16 years female patient was performed this time. He said that it was a challenging task as the case was done with Fibro-Optic intubation.
The Medical Supdt. Of SNM Hospital Dr. Motup on behalf of the people of Ladakh extended appreciations to Dr. Dixit for his goodwill gesture and said that his charity mission has tremendously benefited the poor patients who were unable to bear the huge expenditure on such plastic surgeries. He further requested Dr. Dixit to keep his mission continue in Ladakh in future also for the benefit of poor and needy patients of Ladakh.
