RAMGARH, Nov 26: Government Degree College, Ramgarh celebrated Constitution Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was organized under the able supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the college. The event was organized by Department of Political Science in collaboration with NSS unit "Prabha" of the college. The event aimed to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The theme of this year Constitution Day was "Hamara Samvidhan and Hamara Swabhimaan". Prof. Braham Dutt, NSS coordinator elucidated the significance of the Indian Constitution, detailing its adoption on 26th November and highlighting its salient features. The students were provided with insights into the historical context and the principles that form the foundation of the Constitution. Dr Shivali Choudhary, lecturer Dept. of Political Science addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of the Constitution. She enlightened the students about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, and his meticulous efforts to ensure the representation of aspirations from all sections of society. The Indian Constitution, being the lengthiest document, outlines the rights and duties of all citizens, reflecting the diverse values of the nation. She also advised students to uphold these constitutional values in the future. The Constitution Day was celebrated with active participation from the staff, and students of the college. Students of the college Sanjana, Aditi, Rushi, Vishali, Babli and Priya highlighted the significance of Constitution Day in their speeches. In addition all the students and faculty members of the college read the Preamble of the Constitution.
