| RJMLA demands, setting of Urdu university in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Apr 2: “On the Patorn of Mulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad a Urdu university be establish at Jammu and Kashmir with out further delay: This was expressed by the Executive body of Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary society in a meeting which was held today under the chairmanship of its president professor Shahib Inayat Malik.
Speaking on the occasion the members criticized the successive govt for ignoring the official language and said Urdu University is the need of the hour in the stateas stae has no urdu academy and language is being teated badly by the state authorities despite the fact that urdu is not only a language but also a civilization which had united three regions of the state.
Among others who were present on the occasion were include Aseer Kistwari, Pyre Hatesh, Ravi Thakur M.K Bangroo and others.
Slathia kicks off election campaign in favour of Madan
A minister for industries, commerce, labour employment and CAPD Surjeet Singh Salathia addressed gathering Vijaypur Constituency here today.

He further said N.C. never believes in the dirty politics by exploiting the people on caste, creed and religion basis.
He appealed the people not to get influence by the slogans of such leaders who were hell bent to disturb amenity and peace.
He said that it is the ample time to strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Umar Abdullah and Smt Sonia Gandhi for the success of the party.Many workers of PDP, BSP & BJP joined NC in presence of Salathia, he welcomed new comers with garland and requested them to work for the strengthen of the coalition. Others who spoke on the occasion were Ex-MLA Parkash Sharma, Gouri Shankar, Babal Gupta, Subash Bhagat , Shashi Sharma, Capt. Tirth Ram Block President, Babu Balwant Singh, Vijay Singh, Bhagwan Singh and others.
