| Dy CM greets people on Ramnavmi, Mela Bahu Fort | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 2 The Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand today extended his warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Ramnavmi and Mela Bahu Fort. Tara Chand, in his message called upon the people to follow the path of high moral values and ethics, as shown by Maryada Purshotam Baghwan Rama adding that teachings of Lord Rama show us the righteous way of living in this materialistic world. The Deputy Chief Minister, expressing hope that the festival would be celebrated with traditional fervour, said that “May the festival bestow prosperity, peace and happiness on all and continue to inspire us to inscribe the ideals of compassion, justice and humanitarianism in our hearts”. He also greeted the people of Jammu on the occasion of Mela Bahu Fort. He said that, the Mela is celebrated in the honour of Goddess Kali whose temple in situated at Bahu Fort. The Mela has a special importance, as the temple is visited by large number of people to seek the blessings of Goddess Kali during the Navratras, he added. All other Ministers have also extended their warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami
