Siddhartha Mohanty Inaugurates All India LIC Games 2024 in Jaipur

JAIPUR, Nov 27: The All India LIC Games 2024 were inaugurated by Mr. Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO and Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The four-day sports festival, organized annually by LIC, kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony, showcasing a march past by the participants and the hoisting of the flag by Mr. Mohanty.
The event, which will conclude on 29th November 2024, will feature athletes competing in six disciplines: Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, and Athletics. Around 450 players from eight Zones of LIC will participate, including some representing National Games and international events.
In his address to the players, Mr. Mohanty emphasized that sports enhance both the body and mind in an integrated way. He also highlighted the importance of sportsmanship and the spirit of participation in the games.
Mr. Salil Vishwanath, Executive Director (HRD), Mr. Aditya Gupta, Executive Director (Corporate Communications), Mr. J.P.S. Bajaj, LIC Northern Zone Zonal Manager, and several Senior Divisional Managers from the Jaipur Division were also present at the ceremony.
The All India LIC Games will culminate on 29th November 2024, with the closing ceremony to be presided over by Shri Sat Pal Bhanoo, Managing Director of LIC.
