Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: In a bid to raise awareness about the rising threat of cybercrime, Cyber Jagrookta Cell of GCW Bhagwati Nagar in collaboration with a group of passionate theatre artists and social activists from Quick Heal Organisation, organised a thought-provoking Nukad Natak on the dangers of cybercrime. The performance was staged both at college premises and in the adjoining locality, aiming to educate and engage citizens on how to protect them in the digital age.
The play, titled "Digital Danger: Stay Safe Online," explored various forms of cybercrime, including identity theft, online scams, phishing attacks, cyber bullying, and data breaches.
Through a combination of humor, drama, and impactful storytelling, the Nukad Natak highlighted the vulnerability of individuals in the face of growing digital threats, while also offering practical solutions for avoiding common pitfalls.
The initiative is part of a larger campaign to promote cyber safety and digital literacy among people of all ages. Principal of the college Dr. Meeru Abrol while addressing the gathering highlighted that cybercrime has become a major concern in today's increasingly connected world, and many people are unaware of how easily they can fall victim to it and through such street plays, we aim to make people more aware of the risks and provide them with simple yet effective tools to stay safe online.
