| GGM Science College joins Constitution Day celebrations | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: GGM Science College participated in the Constitution Day celebrations organized by the Department of Youth Services in collaboration with colleges across Jammu district.
The event began with an awareness rally from Government College for Women, Parade, to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chowk. Students, faculty, and NSS volunteers highlighted constitutional values such as justice, equality, and fraternity. A tribute was paid to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the chowk, followed by speeches on his contributions and the relevance of the Constitution in modern India. The celebrations continued at MAM College with cultural performances, speeches on constitutional rights and duties, and a keynote address by Mr. Satish Sharma on the preamble of the Constitution. Faculty from GGM Science College also recited the preamble online, reaffirming their commitment to constitutional ideals.
The event successfully deepened understanding of democratic values and inspired participants to uphold the principles enshrined in the Constitution. |
