NSF constitutes JU unit; Gourav Partap nominated as president

JAMMU, Nov 27: National Secular Forum (NSF) today constituted its Jammu University unit and Gourav Partap Singh appointed as the President, Irfan Ahmed as Chairman, Rishab Sharma as Working President and Pankaj Sharma as Senior Vice-President of the University Unit.
Saleem Malik, Aditya Sharma, Ashaf Ahmed, and Sahil Sharma were appointed as Vice-President.
Innam Nasser and Atul Sharma were appointed as general secretary.
Ashwani Sharma, Farhan Khan, Ajay Singh, Arun Sharma were appointed as secretaries while Imtiaz Ahmed was appointed as press-secretary. Shoaib Mehmood was appointed as office-Secretary.
Ankush Sharma was publicity secretary while Atul Sharma, Sachin Kumar, Vipul, Tehraj, Sunil Sharma, Bablu, Sawan, Sumit Kumar, Shivek and others were nominated as executive body members.
The body was constituted during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Vikshay Vashist State Secretary NSF, Roshan Sharma Jammu District President and Abhishek Uppal Jammu District Chairman who also discussed various issues and demands of the students.
On this occasion, Vikshay Vashist said that the National Secular Forum has always been in the forefront for raising the voice of the students vociferously. He asked the new President Jammu University to work against drug addiction and show good path to the youth. He also said that we would launch the struggle for restoration of the full status of Jammu and Kashmir State.
District President Jammu, Roshan Sharma also said that amongst others, the main aim and objective of NSF has been taking cognizance of problems of students and solving them on priority and that is why the students believe and trust the students-friendly policies of National Secular Forum. He urged that the trust of students' community has to be maintained at all costs.
