Celebration of World Heritage Week held

JAMMU, Nov 27: The World Heritage Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm from 19th to 25th November under a collaborative effort by several esteemed organizations, including Vichar Kranti Manch International, Sarv Uthan Trust, Indian Yoga Association, Sanatan Shashwat Hindu, and in partnership with Shri Bharatvarshiya Digamber Jain Tirth Sanrakshini Mahasabha.
The week-long celebration emphasized the preservation and promotion of India's rich heritage, including its ancient monuments, literature, and religious sites. A special focus was laid on Yoga, recognized as one of India's most profound contributions to global well-being. Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner and President of Vichar Kranti Manch International, delivered an inspiring address. He highlighted Yoga as India's invaluable gift to humanity, offering a holistic approach to physical, mental, behavioral, emotional, and social health. Dr. Jain emphasized the need to protect and propagate this ancient heritage while acknowledging its global acceptance and influence. Distinguished speakers such as Prof. Virender Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Yesh Paul Sharma, Suresh Gupta, and Mrs. Anju Bansal also shared their insights, urging collective responsibility to safeguard India's cultural and historical treasures.
The event was a resounding success, fostering awareness and appreciation for India's heritage and its significance for future generations. The organizing NGOs extended gratitude to all participants and reiterated their commitment to preserving India's legacy.
