| People’s Education Trust organize function at Sopore | | | SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 22 – The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Education Trust organized a grand function at Sopore, in which a sizeable number of locals also participated. The programme was presided over by Ex-Chairman BOSE, Prof. Mohammad Abdullah Chiroo.
The President of the Trust Prof. Mohammad Muzaffar War presented details of Trust’s performance and future programmes.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Trust was founded in 1999 by a teacher, Master Abdul Khaliq Dar. The Trust besides providing boarding, lodging facilities to the down trodden and orphans is educating them. About 50 orphan girls are being brought up in the ‘children’s home’ orphanage of the trust.
Besides, the Trust has recently acquired land for establishment of a grand educational institution in Sopore. |
