Samba, Nov 30: In a continued effort to combat illegal mining, the Jammu and Kashmir Police seized five vehicles in the Vijaypur area of district Samba. The vehicles, including tractor trolleys without registration numbers, were being used for the illegal transportation and mining of construction material. The police team, led by the SHO of Police Station Vijaypur, conducted a patrol in the area and seized the vehicles.
The seized vehicles have been handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
