Early Times Report

DODA, Nov 30: District Program Officer Mission Poshan S. Parmjeet Singh today inaugurated three comprehensive training programs under the POSHAN Bhi Padhai Bhi initiative at Hambal, Poshan Project Marmat. The initiative, part of the Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 scheme, emphasizes the seamless integration of early childhood education, nutrition, and foundational care for children aged 3 to 6 years. The training programs have been designed to equip Anganwadi workers and helpers with essential skills in foundational literacy and numeracy, fostering a child-centric and learning-friendly environment at Anganwadi centers. Alongside addressing malnutrition, these programs aim to strengthen early childhood development by combining education and nutrition, ensuring the holistic growth of young minds. Special emphasis was laid on encouraging parental involvement and strengthening community engagement to support child development effectively. The program also aims to align with NEP 2020’s vision of foundational learning and contribute to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to education and health. This initiative reflects the district’s unwavering commitment to building a healthier and educated society, addressing critical aspects of child development, and creating a foundation for lifelong learning.
