Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 30: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu Commemorates Annual Cultural Event - Jubilant and Progressive Jammu with Fervor and Hilarity Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organized a cultural extravaganza titled "Jubilant and Progressive, Jammu," dedicated to the rich cultural Dogra heritage of Jammu, showcasing the vibrant traditions and captivating culture of the region. The grand event commenced with a warm and gracious welcome extended to the special guests, participants, and parents. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (KAS), Vice-Chairman of JDA, was the Chief Guest; Prof. Lalit Mangotra (Renowned Dogri writer and President of Dogra Sanstha Jammu) was the Guest of Honour; and Snigdha Singh (Principal, Police Public School, Bemina) was the Special Invitee. The event's highlights included the traditional sapling presentation, lamp lighting, Saraswati Vandana, and the welcome song. Rohini Aima, Principal and Vice-Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, addressed the gathering, stating that through this theme, the school aimed to instill a sense of pride and belonging among the young learners while celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of the local Dogra culture. The Annual Report for the primary wing was presented by Varuna Magotra (Superintendent of Curriculum and Instructions). She apprised the audience of how the mission and philosophy of the school have fostered positivity in the day-to-day functioning of the institution, leading to the discovery of excellence in the field of education. The evening's highlights included a series of well-curated cultural performances. The students showcased their talent through various dance forms of Jammu, Dogri songs, and skits, depicting the journey of a Jubilant and Progressive Jammu. The event also witnessed the felicitation of students for their outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Special awards were presented to students who excelled in inter-school competitions in various categories. Our Chief Guest, Pankaj Kumar Sharma (Vice-Chairman, JDA), congratulated everyone involved in making the event a success. He added that it was heartening to see how the students are embracing their roots and bringing them to life with such enthusiasm. He also appreciated the implementation of the Inclusive Education system in the school, which was reflected throughout the program.
