DPS Jammu Students Shine at NHPC State-Level Painting Competition

JAMMU, Nov 30: As a part of National Awareness Campaign to promote Energy Conservation in the country, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. (NHPC), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India organized a prestigious State Level Painting Competition on 14 th November, 2024 at NHPC Regional Office, Jammu wherein Aaradhya Shan (VII-A) & Gouri Rajput (VII-A) won cash prize of Rs. 9500/- & Rs 2000/-, respectively in category-A while Mimansa Aggarwal (X-A) & Drishti Singh (IX-I) also won cash prize of Rs. 9500/- & Rs 2000/-, respectively in category-B.
The competition was organized by NHPC for classes V, VI, & VII under group-A and for VIII, IX & X under group-B. Around 15000 students from J&K U.T had participated in the said competition.
The esteemed Management DPS Jammu, Hon'ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon'ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji along with Principal- DPS Jammu and staff congratulated the students and their teacher in-charge, Mr. Suresh Kumar Sharma for brilliant display in the said event. They also extended their best wishes to them for all their future competitions.
