| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 4 bovines rescued, 1 vehicle seized by JKP in Sub-division Nagrota | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 30: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Jhajjar.Kotli has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 04 bovines were rescued from a vehicle Mahindra bearing registration number No. Jk02DH/ 2683which was coming Jammu towards Udhampur and when reached at Suketar naka point . The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after taking advantage of the darkness.
*04 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 260/2024 U/S 223/BNS, 11 PCA Act has been registered in Police Station jhajjar kotli.
Further investigation is underway.
