Additionally, the IGP Traffic J&K emphasized the launch of special enforcement drives targeting underage drivers and those driving under the influence of alcohol. He also urged officers to make effective use of electronic gadgets, such as speed radar guns and breath analyzers, and utilize interceptor vehicles for strict enforcement of traffic rules. The IGP Traffic J&K emphasized the importance of maintaining politeness and professionalism during enforcement activities. Officers are instructed to approach their duties with respect and courtesy, ensuring that interactions with the public are conducted in a manner that upholds the dignity of both law enforcement and the citizens they serve. This guidance aims to foster positive relationships between the police and the community while ensuring effective law enforcement. Looking ahead, the IGP Traffic J&K stressed the significance of preparing for the upcoming winter season, as it would bring a substantial influx of vehicles and people, particularly from the Kashmir Valley, DKR (Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban) and Poonch-Rajouri regions.
